It appears theyre pretty much all criminals. Theyre all stealing from wethepeople one way or another. Some kind of money laundering going on by all of them. And they all get away with it year after year. But then one of them makes a higher level politician mad and suddenly their business dealings get looked into. Low and befold, theyve been stealing money. Reckon how many legitimately honest poiticians there are? I doubt theres many. As long as they toe the line they get away with it. But how bad does the corruption have to be to see any actual retribution?

Whos gona run the country then? Whats the point in exopsing the corruption if theyre not gona fix it? Its just kinda a big screw you to wethepeople. The system is likely too broken to be fixed. Dont get me wrong, its a great system, best ever, untill you put humans in charge of it, then it gets all screwed up. Time for a new batch of humans to run it. But what do we do with the old ones?

The founding fathers should have put in a clause for executing lying politicians.

Correct Jdub. To add to your point, I don’t think new humans will fix anything. Anything human led is likely to be broken.

We haven’t been good at holding our politicians accountable, or keeping an eye on what they’re passing and who’s paying them. In the meantime, they’ve set every up in their favor, including ways to ensure they get re elected. Even on the state level, we’re not getting very good representation. I hate Democrats with a passion, but Alabama Republicans have gotten far too comfortable knowing the R by their name is good enough for most voters. Primaries are the best tool to get rid of RINOs and public “employees” of companies and interest groups. The country wasn’t set up to be run by career politicians, it was designed to have successful business owners and other leaders temporarily stepping away from their jobs and giving back to the nation. Turberville may or may not be a good governor, AJ McCarron the same as Lt Governor and Finebaum as a senator, but at least theoretically they’re better choices than career politicians.

Government does what it does. The only way to keep it under control is low taxes to keep it small enough to keep the damage to a minimum.

This sign was still up in Sandersville, GA the last time I looked. They have relatively high taxes for a podunk town. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/kaDW0M4.jpeg)

I guess as of right now I'll be voting for Mcfeeters for governor in the primary. My conscience what allow me to vote for Tubs and there is currently no one else. Its almost like the republican party set it up that way again.

They’re all elected now and it’s the good ole boys club. We saw how corrupt they are with Trump’s first term and then Covid. I think for many it was eye opening. For others it was I told you so

But besides that which I don’t see happening what do we do?

Woodduck, its sad procrastination is keeping us from having a better country but youre exactly right. We all know what needs to be done, we just cant seem to put aside the time to do it. But that time will come.

They've appointed themselves as our Masters. They don't have to pay into Social Security since they get a sweet pension when they go away. They don't have to participate in the general healthcare system that we're mandated to do. They get rich in the stock market (Pelosi portfolio is in the thousands of percents in profits. Mine is in the very low teens). They want for nothing, enriching themselves daily. And it's the ONLY system that we have. What are we to do about it?

We are going to loose everything because we are scared of losing way less.

When half of registered voters show up to vote nothing changes . Seem only few people really care nowadays . I work with folks that don’t know who their congressman is or who the mayor of Florence is much less their political stance on policy . They just believe what they see on tv or worse what they see on Facebook. They people that are vocal is less than 1/3 of voters a they cannot do much . I don’t see anything changing for the better ever . When 81 mission people vote for some piece crap like biden we can see where we stand as a country . Just take care of yourself an ur family an home god takes care of us because we can never change anything substantial because we can’t stick together long enough an there is too many people that the devil has taken over .
