I know several of you live in the Lakeview and McCalla area. Do any of you know of a good, reasonably priced source of seasoned firewood? Im working in the area, Old Tuscaloosa/McAshan Drive area. We/I are looking for some firewood for heat. Preferably delivered but could pick up if necessary. I'll try to frequently check for responses and you can pm me. Thanks.

There is a guy that I have gotten it from in the past that is located off Morgan rd not too far from mcalla. He doesn’t have a huge operation but he should still have some now. He sale it by the cubic foot which works out well. Cheapest place I have found it, but you would have to pick up. There is also another place on Morgan rd that sales it, can’t remember the name but it’s on the right before you get to shades crest coming from 459. pm me if you want contact info.

My neighbor cut down a bunch of trees. All stacked up and seasoned. His fireplace caught fire and it was too expensive to repair. I'm going to get some from him. He'd probably be interested in selling the rest. I'm in Hoover and can ask him.
It would take a wheel barrow to get it from his back yard to driveway. You'd have to pick up. He doesn't own a truck.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
