Heard about on 99.5 (Leland Live) Anyone had any experience with them? Supposed to have a large selection of suppressors. How long is the waiting period to get one? Do they help match the best for your firearm? or Is that research you have to to on your own prior? Do they thread your firearm in house for the suppressor? Is there a better place to go to in the BHAM area to have this done properly? Thank you

They are not processing suppressors right now with the government shutdown. The FBI is still processing gun approvals but the suppressors are run through the ATF. I went to look at them last week and that's what I was told. There is going to be a backlog and who knows when they'll reopen the govt. I'd just wait until January and save the $200 tax stamp.

I got an email from Capital Armory on Monday that said the ATF was back to work.

Used to be a gunsmith that worked out of hueytown pawn. He made holsters and worked on guns but was an individual, did not work for the pawn shop....he used to thread barrels, not sure if he still does. I asked about a shotgun barrel for chokes and he wouldn't do it. Said it was too dangerous and that he didnt do shotguns anymore.
