I saw an article today about the merger between the companies and that Rayonier will have controlling interest. Reckon any changes in the land management style will happen?

From my experience, Rayonier charges more for leases and frequently increases prices to stay top of the market. They have a much more corporate feel to their leasing business than Potlatch, especially for land within a few hours of major metro areas. The bulk of Rayonier's Southern land holdings are desirable to the Atlanta, Jacksonville/Orlando/Tampa, and Houston markets and they are used to being able to charge accordingly. I hope I am wrong but if you have been leasing a Potlatch place for $10 an acre for a while, get ready for a "market adjustment." They are not afraid to charge $25 an acre and let it sit on the website a few months until someone is crazy enough to pay it.
