We're meeting up with my cousin and his wife for lunch Saturday in Meridian....I know it's not exactly a culinary destination, but anyone got any recommendations for somewhere good to grab lunch that isn't fast food?

Travel east on i20 back to Livingston and eat Diamond Jim’s Been there a few times and it's definitely good. But we're meeting them in Meridian (they're coming from Biloxi) and Livingston is quite a bit farther than they're going to want to go.

Weidman's is a 65-year institution (that I can remember). I expect it's closer to 90 or 100 years old. Still good food 4-5 years ago, last time I went through. Thing Bright Star

Ate at Weidmans a few weeks ago. If they still have the redfish it was awesome.
