I hate rats. I have had some hungry ones in the barn. Chewed up a bunch on my old faithful 1976 International 986.
Anyone have a source for a wiring diagram for it? I found one online for a 1586 but was hoping for a 986. Not included in my operators manual.
Im gonna have to get a couple of cats.
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

Raising the hood and opening any compartments along with some plastic snakes laying around anytime I wasn’t using the tractor seemed to help with my rat problem

After you rewire it, get some rodent tape to put over it. Honda sells it under their brand, but there are others.

Not me. But manualslib.com claims to have over 3,000,000 manuals available for free download in pdf format. I've downloaded manuals for my Tohatsu boat motor, Echomap fish finder, Swisher bush hog, Cuisinart waffle maker (I know, I know, but I had a question...never mind). Owner's manuals, installation manuals, repair/service manuals. The site is amazing, and free! Won't hurt to look.

I had to start keeping rat poison in the hay and equipment sheds. Go to tractor supply and get the big bucket of tom cat and keep plenty out. It’s a lot cheaper than tracing wires.

whenever I need schematics I do a search with the word " forum" in it. schematics ain't always free but if not I can find them in forums sometimes.
