I bought a new Mahindra 2545 in 2019 that was just a rebadged TYM it was the biggest POS I’ve ever had. Not sure if they are all like that but I lost my ass getting rid of it.
TYM and Branson are the same company now. I think all their stuff is made in South Korea. South Korea is as good if not better at making stuff than the Japanese, so that puts them in pretty good company in my book.
I think they are assembled in Rome, Georgia. I drive by their factory all the time. They are going through an expansion over there right now. So bringing more manufacturing jobs to America and that's a good thing too...

I messed around with one of their small ones, it had bigger wheels and tires than a subcompact, maybe more like a 2025R JD size machine. I liked everything about it, except where you step up on it was a little tight compared to the subcompacts. The JD 1025 was the leader in every aspect, this was a close second for me. I didn't believe it had 25hp, nor did a couple of the other guys, but that seemed to rile up the focus group leadership. LOL!!
I have one of the last of the Bransons. Branson was owned and built by TYM at that time but still had the Branson name. It's also has a Cummings diesel. It's actually smaller than I should have bought but it doesn't seem to know how small it is. It keeps up with its bigger brothers way better than expected. And I've worked it hard. I guess you could call it borderline abuse instead of work. It's a 22 model I believe, with a couple hundred hours so far and no issues yet. I can't speak for the fully branded TYMs though.
I was reading about them not long ago. Apparently they have a big foot print worldwide but are trying to break into the U.S. market. The biggest drawback that I read about was ability to source parts and dealership support in general. However, the company is aware of this and is actively trying to grow dealerships and part availability. I don’t remember where I read this from so take it with a grain of salt.

The dealership network is probably why they bought Branson. I think they have already been making Branson tractors for some time.
FYI... I think most, if not all, TYM engines are Yanmar and those are some good motors.

I know nothing about these tractors. But if they have yanmar motors in them you can put any worries you have in the motors aside. They are very very good motors. A ton of compact equipment have their motors in them.
Ive heard good things about them. Was about to buy one but i got a sweetheart of a deal on another kioti. I got the kioti for a little over half price of a new one with 130hrs on it. I was about to buy a Tym when i found it. My komatsu skidsteer has a yanmar motor. I really like it. Has worked pretty hard for 1.5yrs now.
