Hopefully the men folk on here are on top of this but if not, schedule a PSA test. Do it NOW! And follow up with the uncomfortable prostate exam. It could save your life. That is all.

I am a fan of a psa test but the prostate exam on initial screening is no longer recommended as the psa is better. But yes, get your psa checked routinely.

I am a fan of a psa test but the prostate exam on initial screening is no longer recommended as the psa is better. But yes, get your psa checked routinely. I’m assuming that is a normal test as guys get older. I’ll ask today and make sure they test for that

Mine is currently undetectable. PSA tests probably saved my life!
Routine doctor visit is the time to have it done. Do it at least 2xs a year if you can. Several on here have had prostate cancer and early detection via PSA checks saved our lives.
I can't stand a thief.

I just had complete blood work I had them check me for every thing , all was good . Got my cologauard last night .

My dad and both brothers had prostate cancer so I get the PSA test every six months and the finger wave test annually. Mine hovers around .3.

My doc tests PSA, and told me this year that the jelly finger really doesn't add to the accuracy of a diagnosis. Not sure when this changed, but I'm glad.

Grandfather died because of it (didn't believe in doctors) & my Dad died with it. Because of his father, Dad was tested regularly & caught his early. Likewise for me. If it's caught early, while the cells remain encapsulated in the organ, you can get on with life. Get checked boys.

Back when I was in college a teammate of mine and I took my boat to try’n kill some teal out of Miller’s Ferry on the bama river. Well my buddy told me that their accountant and one of his buddies were gonna hunt with us. The 2 other fellas were old men, one of them a straight coonass(my favorite people) and the other an old navy doctor. We got out there and crushed them, 4 man limit of blue wings. The Cajun was all fired up and talking about how he and that man always had the best luck. He turned to us and said “it’s nice to have a hunting buddy that isn’t trying to put his finger in everyone’s ass for once.” I didn’t know how to take that joke at first but apparently that was the navy doctor’s job was to check all the sailors. I still don’t get that joke🤣
