Like the title says, looking for an engine test stand. I’ve needed one for years, and the more I piddle with old car/truck engines, and tractor motors…it’s time to break down and buy one. I don’t need an electronic everything stand, as I’m working on old v8 engines mainly with MSD distributors & carburetor.
It would be cool if I could find one, and even better if someone had one that dad, grandad, old friend, etc used…and use it to teach kids how to build or repair engines, or just to burn in a freshly rebuilt engine to verify no cheap China parts poop out before the pain of installation/removal/repair/reinstallation/repeat.

They have some pretty decent ones for less than $1,000, and some fairly decent looking ones on Summit racing for about $500…but figured I’d check here first. I’ve seen a good many go for a couple hundred that were very well made by some old craftsmen.

Thanks in advance…
