How would this work here in Alabama through an FFL for a fully legal purchase? https://x.com/EricLDaugh/status/1939693101091520950

I wish they would fix our permit system so we could use it to purchase again. It was so nice not getting delayed. Even with a Upin, I get delayed. Ever since I bought an AR15, delay.

With this tax break can I just hop on down to Florida and get the savings? If they sale to out-of-state me it has to go through an FFL and all that. Will the tax break still apply? and would it be worth it?

You can purchase a long gun in FL as an AL resident.

I don't think this is still true. From what I read in a Bama Carry email (may have been a GOA instead) permits are again allowed in lieu of the NICS check. From what i remember from the eamil, there was a link to ATF where they were allowing them again.
