Anyone had this procedure? I am going to have it done due to tearing my right shoulder completely out of socket! I am in the most awful pain I have ever been in. Surgery cannot happen soon enough. Appreciate any prayers!

Same here - I've had 4 shoulder surgeries - 2 on each - now my right has a torn labrum and torn Rotator Cuff since June 24 - trying to make it to Feb 2026 (after deer season and retiring).
Any advice would be much appreciated - both of mine to have a Reverse Replacement.

Fur Flyn had a reverse replacement done on his a couple years ago. I had a standard replacement. Dr. Adkinson @ St. Vincent Orthopedic did both mine and Fur's shoulders within a week.

My father in law had it done a few weeks ago. He's in his early 80's, so take that into account, he doesnt hurt any more but has very limited movement so far. He is very disciplined and has done all the therapy, etc...

torn labrum, rotator cuff, AC Joint, and cartilage repair. I had the surgery and it was the worst pain i've been through. good news is my shoulder no longer pops out of place randomly or hurts as bad, But I also dont have full range of motion with that shoulder either.
It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.

Haven’t had the reverse procedure, but have had both shoulders replaced. Very happy with the results. Do the prescribed exercises religiously, no matter how stupid you think they are. The shoulder controls a lot more of the hand movements than you think.
