Cheapest I can find for my truck is right a $1,000.00 for a set, mounted and balanced. I need tires now but it's just going to have to wait.

My question is if you buy them on line who would mount them and for how much. What about rotate and balance for the lifetime of the tires. I'm funny about doing business with a jack leg.

I paid $40 cash to mount/balance/disposal/new valve stems 4 truck tires. I buy mine a t Discount Tire Direct. BTW, Walmart hires mostly jack legs.

If you order them online and tell the tire guy mounting them to use bag weights all you have to do Is bump around the tread with a hammer when yOu rotate them and they will re balance themselves. I have
Nitrogen in my tires as well and don't have
AnY pressure fluctuation at all still got 65% tread on mine with just over 45000 miles on them they are Yokohama geolander a/t-s 265/75/17 10 ply

i just bought a set of federal mud tires for 2004 2500 HD, got em financed at trax tires in mobile for 1k, really hurt my feelings.. that included nitrogen on all tires, mount, balance, and "complimentary" roadside assistance, it was 100.00 on my recipt, if you use Trax tires..look at your recipt before you leave! overall Federal makes a great tire.

I put a set of 18 inch Dueller AT's on mine about two weeks ago and it was just shy of a grand.

If anyone needs them in the next couple months and don't mind a Firestone tire, they usually run a Fathers Day special with $100 off a set. I bought a set for the wifes Highlander last year for $500+ and change less the $100 off for around $400+. I also got a $50 mail in rebate from them (can't remember what the promo was) so it was really like $350+.
