It's confusing as heck with all the weird designs. Looking for some designs that work and any that are junk.

I have one that looks like this one. I bought it from Walmart several years ago. I live about 50 to 60 miles here in north Baldwin from any station tower. Has always worked well for me. I'm not sure if this is the same brand as the one, I have. Looking at the site, there are a few that looked similar. I'm at work otherwise I'd look to see. I'm sure anyone of them would do just as good.

I have a wineguard 8200u it’s a giant antenna.

I have it in our attic and have an amplifier on it.

I live between Bham and Montgomery and can pick up stations for either city

we have about 40channels on every tv in the house.

Here’s a report of what channels are available.
I didn’t know your exact location so this is Pensacola.

Also this link is a good site to get different antennas.

I have the extreme long range antenna . UHF/vhf . Works fine . Picks ups Huntsville 90 miles away . The super stacker antenna is a good one also . Any the others is junk . Search for “antenna man” on utube he knows everything about over air free antenna business .

My charity used to use one made by Zimtown. I think it came from walmart. It worked pretty well, it was motorized so you could turn it a little to get a better picture kinda like I used to have to do when my daddy told be to move the rabbit ears on the tv.

The charity responds to natural disasters like hurricanes to provide free hot meals and most of the places we go have no power\cable\internet. We would use it to watch the weather and maybe a football game if one was on when we were working.

But this winter Starlink agreed to give us free service when we needed it (we had to buy the equipment) and we can now stream stuff. We also turn on the wifi calling on our cell phones and they will work when the towers are down.

How would the reception be if you have it in attic under a metal roof?

It won't work well. If at all.
