The Catfish House in Millbrook is good and we go there a lot. I’ve eaten good catfish at Moe’s BBQ and Full Moon as suggested earlier. This became my go to Catfish place in Central Alabama after Mac’s (RIP) burned down. Mac’s was the best, period.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The Catfish House in Millbrook is good and we go there a lot. I’ve eaten good catfish at Moe’s BBQ and Full Moon as suggested earlier. This became my go to Catfish place in Central Alabama after Mac’s (RIP) burned down. Mac’s was the best, period. We use to go to macs when I hunted in Marion junction. You didn’t leave hungry.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I forgot and have no idea if the name or if the place is still open. But about 30 or 40 years ago I went to a real good one over in the Hartselle or Decatur area. Don’t remember which just remember them having a CB pond there that had white catfish in it

I ….pond there that had white catfish in it Were they Bullheads or albino Channel Cats that had been caught? I was always fascinated by the rare albinos that would be in the sock net when we seined. I was always told they threw the Asians working in the plant for a loop when they came down the processing line. Evil in their culture. Wouldn’t touch em or have anything to do with them.

yep, Ezell's still frying up some great catfish..slaw is fantastic. was down there in Feb hog huintin. carry your cooler to the table. I'd rather go there than to Big Mike's

Correction it was Robert's Catfish and then it was David's right before it burned.

Ate several times at Ezell's when I was younger with my dad. Good food and good times
.

There was an ezells in Pelham for a short amount of time that had very good catfish. I’m sure the other locations are good. Mustang in Greensboro is my go to.

Why are there no fried bream houses out there? They are a whole lot better than catfish. Especially when the fish is old. Catfish are easy to train to pellet feed and they'll grow in a mud puddle. I don't eat catfish, but if there were a restaurant that served shellcracker fillets you can bet I'd make the drive!

Why are there no fried bream houses out there? They are a whole lot better than catfish. Especially when the fish is old. Catfish are easy to train to pellet feed and they'll grow in a mud puddle. I don't eat catfish, but if there were a restaurant that served shellcracker fillets you can bet I'd make the drive! I don't like them pellet fed. I'd rather go down to a dam and catch some while they are pulling water.
