This may have been posted already, but I read the first page and had zero clue about what was going on. So in about 5 minutes I found this and lol'd. Posting screenshot so others can enjoy. He posted a pic of a field touting how awesome his throw and mow process was during the drought but of course you had to go to the seminar to learn it. Somebody asked if he could post a pic of the field during the drought and he did like he always does and talked down to the guy. I said “ he asked for a pic not the process”
Got the ban.
I would kill every button head on my lease and turn loose nest predators during turkey season before I’d pay that SOB a penny for anything he knows. Agree 💯 I’m still waiting for him to post high fence or free range on the FB pics. Anyone can get daylight pics of mature high fence bucks.

I work with high fences too. Currently, only with native genetics. You can produce exceptional quality native AL deer on natural vegetation here as long as they don’t exceed what the enclosure can adequately support.

I will tell you what. I am certainly no wildlife biologist, nor am I the most talented food plotter out there, but if some of you want to chip in and donate some clover, I will test it and report back.
I can tell you from my experience so far, Whitetail clover is superior to durana in terms of utilization. I have had difficulty with Balansa growing. Arrowleaf does well, and seems to regenerate. Crimson does well. The biggest problem I run into is weed control.
I am always on the lookout for something to try. Barduro red clover is the next one I am going to try. And I may order some straight frosty berseem too.

Arrowleaf will definitely come back. Noticed quite a bit in one food plot and ai have not planted any in 7-8 years.

I even went in and bush hogged the field I had it in, with blooms, and it rebloomed. I have never done any ground breaking in this field either. It's all throw and mow.
