Took last Tuesday off to go catfishing. My partner and I went to G Dam and trolled between the last wall and shoreline looking for shad. Saw a school on the sonar and threw the cast net. It came up loaded with keeper sized crappie. Cast after cast it was nothing but crappie. So if anyone is interested, you know where to go catch a limit. The shad are spawning in the rocks. We went back downstream and with one throw, had more than enough bait to last for the rest of the day.
