Where the heck do folks sell used vehicles these days? I have a 2020 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 that I listed on marketplace. All I get on there is freaking scammers. Where is another outlet to list a used vehicle?

Where is another outlet to list a used vehicle? Read this post from a recent thread on here, regarding selling on FB Marketplace. I buy/sell stuff all the time on there (out of boredom more than anything, really) and this has made it much more tolerable. FB Marketplace isn't too bad if you have the right expectations and do a couple of things... 1. Just add a note at the end of every listing stating "Automated 'is this available' type messages will be ignored and deleted", and then follow through with it. The problem is that on every listing, FB has a pre-populated "is this available" message with a "send" button ready to go (see screenshot below). The "send" button is conveniently on the right side of the page, and since most people are right-handed, it's easy to accidentally hit that with your thumb while scrolling. I'd guess a majority of the people that you get that message from don't even realize you sent it. But I put that disclaimer there so that anyone that is intentionally messaging me knows to send an actual message if they expect a response. 2. "Local only - no shipping". If I get a message from someone that isn't in my area, I completely ignore and delete it unless they specifically say they'll be in my area or something to that effect. Do I potentially miss out on a sale here or there? Possibly, but I'll just move on to the next person. 3. Choose a meet-up spot that is convenient to YOU (as a seller). If the buyer is serious, they'll meet you...if not, you didn't go way out of your way or waste a lot of time. As a buyer, I haven't ever really had any issue showing up to buy something and the seller standing me up. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/uXP6mqI.jpg)

List it in the classified section here.
With that said, last 2 vehicles I've sold, i listed on both fb marketplace and Craigslist. 1st one sold within 45 minutes of listing it (at asking price from a dealer... this was during the post covid used car craziness and it actually sold for more than my mom paid for the vehicle). 2nd car sold within 10 days just a few months ago
You have to know how to weed through the scammers and tire kickers though

Car max give it a try. Online put all info in easy. They tell you what they will give you. Sold 2 take title they write you a check.

I list stuff on marketplace occasionally and some sells some don't, if it don't its usually because I got tired of answering stupid ass questions from people who don't bother reading the ad and delete it. low tolerance for stupid
