Can someone please explain to me why eggs are going through the roof, and there is a shortage of them, while chicken meat prices stay the same? Does it only kill egg laying chickens?

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I’ve heard you have to have eggs to get chickens. Fertile eggs.

On the last day of office, Xiden had killed over 100 million laying hens just to make the Trump administration look bad.
Also, why isn’t the bird flu in other countries? It’s a hoax to put fear in the government depending dumbasses that are democrats.

Because government.
I want to know how there will be chickens with resistance to bird flu if .gov kills every chicken at any facility where bird flu tests give a result .gov says is for bird flu.

Saw where a new vaccine is coming out for it. That’s your answer in my opinion but I’m no chicken raising expert. $$$$

Egg laying chickens start laying at 4 months old and lay for 2-3 years. Broiler Chickens are from 6-8 weeks old when slaughtered. At least this is what i was told. Broiler chickens don't have the time to get it compared to layer hens.

It was all a setup. Conservatives ran on the price of eggs among other things, so the dems rigged it so the price of eggs would go through the roof by killing a hundred million layers.

There's been plenty of eggs everywhere I've gone shopping around here. I did notice yesterday there was a big orange sign about an egg shortage taped to the door of a fridge section slammed full of cartons of eggs...

Egg consumption has been going down since 2019...while eating chicken has gone up. So yes it is a hoax as usual. But what is interesting is looking at turkey consumption how low it has gotten... https://www.uspoultry.org/economic-data/

Like everything else the government “fixes”, they make stupid illogical decisions and we take a beating for their incompetence.

I want to know how there will be chickens with resistance to bird flu if .gov kills every chicken at any facility where bird flu tests give a result .gov says is for bird flu. Bird flu is very real. Looked at a field 3 years ago full of dead snow geese. Last year there were fewer and this year very few. If you kill the whole chicken population then they never develop resistance. Funny they were willing to vaccinate people with no testing but won't do that to the chickens. The crisis will subside but I doubt the prices will drop.

I'm not saying bird flu is a myth. I'm saying bird flu results in egg price insanity because of .gov involvement, not solely because bird flu.
I will also say:
Seeing a field of dead geese only means they died. It doesn't mean you know how unless you tested them and an independent party verified your results. I do not trust .gov to accurately test and report results of anything. We know they lied and skewed re: chinavirus. I don't want to eat an egg from any chicken that got any mRNA jab.
