I read where you can hose down plants before freezing temperatures and the ice will protect them. Hope like hell it works on my cabbage 🤞

It works on greens. My grandpa used to do it. I think they use the same method in orange groves. Either that or they keep running water on them to keep them from freezing. I was in Venice Louisiana during what they called a 100 year cold spell and they were running sprinklers wide open until they froze up.

Does not work that way, you’d be better off investing in some frost blankets. Well, it did work. The outer leaves look like hammered hell but the heads are still good.
