If Trump truly takes the gloves off, it won’t matter what they do. Won’t matter who they hire. The US military has rarely been allowed to show how truly lethal they can be and the sheer volume force that can be drought to bear. Make no mistake, it is impressive. Rules of engagement, public opinion, fear of civilian casualties and collateral damage, have all been used to neuter our military’s effectiveness on the world stage. I’m not sure that Trump is going to be worried about any of that this second go around. Plus, after 4 yrs of Biden, it’s time to show several other world players exactly what their fate could be, and gain some respect for our military again on the world stage. X100

One simple fact. The last shooting at each other issue with Canada was probably a hunting related miscommunication in the Yukon.
With Mexico, we have had actual War and Boundary "issues" .

It won’t last long if the gloves are fully taken off and the SF guys are allowed to do what they need to do, without regard to playing by rules and having to avoid excess collateral damage. Big diff in cartel members spraying and praying, and a bunch of well organized and well trained specialists, with air support, being able to just exterminate with extreme prejudice, reckless abandon and zero rules of engagement. By the way, if we go in after the cartels, that’s exactly how it needs to be done and what needs to happen. I'll start with the word "If". If Devgru gets greenlighted for open season on cartels American soldiers will die,but the cartels will be broken and broken badly. We have the A10 warthog and kajillon rounds of ammo and want to. Truly nowhere on this planet is safe for them get on your yacht and get wrecked by the Navy live in your mountain top villa and get a B2 bomb faster than Amazon prime. Fly to safety in your jet? You really think the F35 or F15 is slow and toothless? Nope.

I have to laugh but it ain’t funny to underestimate an enemy, we have been fighting goat eating hash smoking ragheads for decades with oceans between us and they are still coming.
Its all fun and games when the cartel is drinking modelo and blowing pumpkins up at 2000 yards with 50 cals but not so much when they turn them to soldiers and those that ordered the soldiers.
