Clearcut meets a south facing hardwoods ridge
NNW wind and temps dropping should be good and hopefully a good one will pop out of the thicket.

Pretty windy here......About to head out and help look for a young girl's deer shot yesterday evening......The does should be starting to go hot down here.....About to get good We’re starting to see more yearlings by them selves. I watched a doe beat the heck out of her twin fawns the other afternoon. No I see them together without her. Young bucks are getting plum silly and seeing lots of cutting up and running tracks. More scrapes showing up. Getting close here in South Monroe County.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Back in the same spot I was in yesterday afternoon on Uchee. Saw 16 deer between 1:00 and dark here yesterday and 9 of those were bucks.

Here half way up a hill. Scrapes and rubs everywhere. Got 2 different bucks coming through between 11-12. Don’t know if can hang it out that long so maybe 1 will come strolling through earlier.
