We're in south Coosa county about a mile from the Elmore/Coosa line. Been seeing bucks cruising hard all week and the buck I killed Saturday was going back and forth between eating and bumping a doe around.

I’ve seen some bumping between weoka and central. Nothing big but the little ones are getting rowdy.

My place is a little piece west of Tallassee... been looking at a few preliminary scrapes for a little over a week. Haven't seen any chasing yet. We usually hit on and some on either side of MLK weekend. They ought to be getting situated in the starting gate.
You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?

They were cruising this morning. I shot the 5th buck that came by. A nice 10 point. His tarsals were dark and stinky.
