College football is now a game owned by the billionaires. It will steadily get worse, not better.. The state of Alabama dont have enough money to compete with the oil money in Texas and the tech money in Oregon. These are guys that could own a pro team but for whatever reason will decide to own a college team, they will call the shots. Ohio has the money, Michigan does, No matter who the coach is it will get worse. These donors have mega egos, they will do what it takes. It will take more time before it fully evolves, but it will. I heard the University of GA President say, we screwed up, we had a chance to fix it but we didnt act fast enough, he said some changes could be made but it wont ever be enough. College ball is truly worse than pro ball.

It is not a good situation when a big booster can call the shots.....Been going on for quite a while in Auburn. That has always been Auburn's problem. Just when they get the program running pretty good, some donor/trustee screws it up. But yes, College Ball is dead unless NIL changes occur this year. If it goes any longer than a year or two its 100% over. The smart thing to do is to call it a failed experiment before it becomes permanent and end it now and come up with a better more reasonable system to compensate the players. Example: They just showed the Baylor coach asking a player what his name was and they are in a bowl game. Is that the coaches fault or the system? The kid hasn't been there long enough for the coach to know his name.

It'll be a good thing for adults to be forced to focus on something besides trying to take credit for these kids on the field successes that they have absolutely no part in. Psychiatrist and therapist gotta make a living too. Let it all burn...

Will not stop until we quit watching games on tv and buy tickets for the games. I’m guilty as hell.

There is a practical reason why college stadiums are bigger than NFL stadiums. A lot of smaller schools with 30-40k stadiums are going to be lucky to get better than half for a strong game.
