Did they dig it up at the main and disconnect it or just pull the meter? Had you been using water and paying the bill? I could see then not setting a 2” meter if the main wasn’t big enough to flow what a 2” takes. I worked at a water authority for 15 years and the only time we ever did that was if someone was stealing water.

I can assure you no water was stolen and yes it was dug up and disconnected at the main and meter left in place Main not being big enough isn’t a good reason if I offer to run another at my expense I wouldn’t think.

Saddle, free water
Setup what looks like a rainwater system or well and fill the tank via saddle.

Any man or entity that denies another water deserves execution on the spot because they are inherently evil.

I can assure you no water was stolen and yes it was dug up and disconnected at the main and meter left in place Main not being big enough isn’t a good reason if I offer to run another at my expense I wouldn’t think. Even if you offer to build at your expense, they may not be willing to take over and maintain the line once finished..even if it were to pass an inspection…but still…that would be dumb on their part because the line would do nothing but give you water and make them money…no…this all seems odd, of you know the reason they dont want to work with you then..i mean thats probably your issue. Also, digging a seevice up and killing it at the no blow is not a normal thing for any utility, for them to do that..thats crazy…thats the kinda stuff you do to a repeat offender not only stealing water, but repeatedly damaging meters and curb stops…you dont pay your bill…you get locked up…you cut my lock and or damage my curbstop..you get charged material plus a tamering fee…you do this more than a couple times in a row…i dig your service up an kill it at the main an if you want service again…and you pay all your fees.. you can also expect to pay new material and impact fees just like you were getting a new meter set…all over again…but that is a very..very extreme situation in which we have tried to communicate and beg them to do right…and thats why your situation is so odd to me. You have a dilemma sir, as i said before…be as nice as you can be, that will go further with the ones you will need to talk to, to get help. It may also be cheaper in the long run to just go with the fayette utility you spoke of, im not telling you what to do..something isnt right, but i am sorry this is happening…good luck sir.

I could easily run ample water from the other side of the property supplied by Fayette but why the hell should I, they only have power trips and hidden agendas, which I absolutely believe to be the case but won’t share why just yet, if sheep let them. I ain’t wearing wool for anything or anyone Call and get on the Water Boards next meeting agenda. Then speak to the board and see what they say. This is if the manager cannot answer your questions, on this first.

This is typical government in the land of the free. It's not their water line!

This situation doesn’t make sense. I’ve worked in the utility world off and on for 30 years and never heard of a municipality turning off a customers water and disconnecting it at the main for no reason.

Seems they would have to give a valid reason to pull the current meter. But I don't know. That's just my thoughts

I thought no they unhooked it the way they did to prove a point and no other reason, probably figured if they didn’t I’d hook it up and use it. Probably would
Kill dozer is child play 1200 HP strikers with mine chains would be more my speed 😂
I’ll probably wind up hooking to Fayette water and I know it, but I’ll find out how much money Berry can spend before they stutter first.

Is it possible that they took the “ I will pay for a 4” line” as a “possible threat to get 44% of their water from the 6” line“ as the reason for disconnecting from the main. Not implying no wrong doing on hoggins part, there’s a reason they did what they did I’m not buying the conspiracies that’s been mentioned
