Dang that's rough
At least they put us managers together Tuesday I'll get a high end bottle of whiskey 🍾 and a small check.i hope or always have but I don't really care ....

Keep your head up Jesus is reason for season anyways

Honestly Christmas bonus stuff is a feel good but who cares it really doesn't amount to much.just keep busting it
It will pay off in the end regardless if your company sees it

Jesus Christ is reason for the season not all this mess

No, they won’t. It will be forgotten until it’s time to get another (or not) next Christmas.

Sad but true for most

That sounds like a union. I thought the majority of Aldeerians were against unions.

Yeah he should probably just take the pay cut every year.

And they hate the transfer portal, so you can never quit a job. You know, because you made a commitment. 🤦‍♂️

Our top performer (based in a different state) has been shafted for a while now. Apparently they decided he was making too much money, several months back, so they cut his commission percentage a while ago. Just his. He told me yesterday that he had obtained an attorney and they have been letting the company hang themselves. Said he would be filing suit after the first of the year. Should get interesting.

We usually get something very very cheap from our company. We employ around 2000 people so I don't expect them to do much.

What would be the basis for a lawsuit? Unless they are breaching a contract aren't companies still allowed to dictate pay and employees are free to leave if they don't like the compensation? I don't agree with cutting commissions but am trying to understand where the company could be held legally liable unless they breached a contract.

Cutting just his would be my guess.

Correct. They have spelled out in writing, in the procedure manual, how our positions are paid. They changed just his 6-8 months ago apparently.

I'd like to know the parameters of pay? If they cut commissions by 25% and the original structure was 4% then they are now at 3%. Is there a big price increase coming in January? If so, the 3% could equal the same or more in the long run. Companies don't normally make those types of changes just to be azzholes. Usually it's to survive.

The company I used to work for cut 280 outside sales jobs and put $15 an hour guys running it as a delivery route . I had two friends got cut one was a 30yr employee. Oh they done the 20% pay cut a few years ago. So it could be worse. Sorry that companies are such aholes and Al way pic this time of year to do this sh!!
