When we bought our Rav4, I ordered the Weathertech mats and cargo liner. Best first purchase investment. For the cargo liner, I also bought a segmented cargo net. Groceries slide all over the place without it.

Vantrue has dashcams on sale. A professional installation by SpeakerBox here in Huntsville was $400. If you buy the rear camera, you have to remove the ceiling liner to run the wire.

My daughters have a RAV4 also. I was thinking about getting one of those Apple car play adapters.

Pretty much done with Christmas shopping. For whatever reason, my wife didn't want to accompany me today so I did all my shopping at Cabelas and Duluth Trading (what I haven't done already over the internet). Pretty sure my son, nephew and brother will be happy, but don't know about the women folk. Oh well, not my fault without someone to guide me. A nice hint for y'all and asking for advice.

Hint: When you buy a Duluth Trading gift card they knock 15% off the price. A $100 gift card costs $85 but the recipient only knows they got a $100 card. Sure the stuff is overpriced, but they sell really quality stuff. For example I have a pair of Boar's Hide shoes that I've worn for work at FEMA and when I was doing Code Enforcment work part time and I've had them for at least 25 years and they are still my FEMA shoes and have wear left. Honestly, just some saddle soap every now and then and they are just now showing some wear. The underwear I've bought from there is the same way.

OK, now I need some recommendations. My daughter just bought a new Toyota Rav4 for herself and I want to get her something for it in the $200 or so range. Right now some Weathertech floor mats is at the front of the list unless one of y'all have a better idea. If it comes with XM radio, which I'm sure it does, maybe a year subscription to that. That way, every year I can already know what to get her.

Before you get xm I would ask her. My kids only listen to spotify and podcasts.

I love my country, but don't trust my government.
