Set up on swan creek wma. Had one come under right after I got climbed up. Too dark to see it. Good luck.

Am I the only one hunting in this afternoon heat I’m in a tree. Set up closer to where I saw a good buck yesterday. Winds been shifty here and have been blown at twice, hoping it’ll keep straight now that the sun is getting low.

They were on their feet this evening. They were out of range but I saw some beautiful deer. 2 that I haven't seen on camera since neighbors cut timber in August. They were top target deer this year and I thought they were gone forever. Came in at 5:55 and stayed until it was dark. I didn't get out of the stand until 7:10 out of fear of spooking them.

Five bucks, three does, and one coyote this afternoon. Two of the bucks were nice, one a stud young 10 that’ll get a pass and the other a 4+ yo 8. Probably would have shot the 8 but they never came closer than about 65 yds.
