Here at Colbert co courthouse and require a background check that did not expire. WTH
In 25 years I just simply renew. Is this part of the new laws on concealed carry in state?

I would love to see the states that offer constitutional carry have a meeting of the minds, if you have a valid drivers license from a constitutional carry state and non felon, you can carry in any other constitutional carry state.
Of course the most ideal situation is the whole mess is struck down and any non felon can carry in any US state.

They done one on me each time I renewed . I have life time now . I was told it was best that each time I renew my DL I should call in and they would send me a new permit with updated picture. Was also told they do a background check each year..

I was doing a quick check with Bama and Texas this spring when I went there, and that's the way I understood it to work. I'm also thinking several other states are reciprocal with the Constitutional Carry. It's possible. that I could have read it wrong.

Felons have already proven they don’t adhere to laws anyways. Plus they rarely pay the price for felon in possession of firearm anyways The lady couldn’t answered when this went into effect and should know. Wife informed me it wa apart of some new legislation that passed last year or so.

I have a Lifetime Non-Expiring. But I really don't care when I cross state lines. This Country is messed up. I'm carrying!

If you are not required to have a periodic background check then you are probably being continually vetted. In Lauderdale county you have to apply by registering with a third party company from California that also claims to do data base management for Federal Agencies. Seems my local Sherif is probably registering all his CCP holders with California and the Feds. Once you are in the system...
