Wife had the opening ceremony on. I had tuned it out until I heard some seriously heavy guitar riffs. Turned to look and Gojira was jamming out as part of the opening ceremony. Everything before and after that has been pretty much as sucky as expected, but that was the one shining moment.
Just got back from Paris about a month ago and the Mayor had several bridges across the Seine closed to traffic to erect bleachers for viewing the boats going by. It was a traffic nightmare.

Their lives involve taking everything from everybody else. That is their business and that is what they do. It is programmed in to their culture, they do not know how to do anything else.
