That sucks
I had a 20yr old daughter, completely leave the lid open on our large chest freezer. I mean damn, how the hell do you forget to close the entire damn lid.
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

I always thought that it was bad to refreeze meat that had been thawed to the point it no longer had ice crystals on it, but this article says otherwise: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/can-you-refreeze-meat#effects-of-thawing-freezingDoesn't really apply to the OP's situation, though, since it's based on the meat being thawed and held at refrigerator temps.

Been there and done that. No problems.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Freeze it and eat it. One of the processors I use claims all these grocery stores freeze and refreeze meat all the time. I remember buying ribs at Publix that were labeled previously frozen in the ad.
