Yeah I’ve had really good experiences with the ELD-X but all my shots have been inside 160 yards That’s the problem. It could happen at 50 yards just like 400.

I shoot the 162gr factory loaded precision hunters in my 7mm mag and love them. Only shot deer but love them

I have shot 1 deer with an eldx…it went in at the last rib ata very hard quarter and stopped in the opposite shoulder..no exit..but deer only ran about 20ft..looked like a bomb went off inside him. Damage wise..it was great..but not a dang drop of blood nowhere…im on the fence because my gun loves them thangs.

Yeah I’ve had really good experiences with the ELD-X but all my shots have been inside 160 yards Same here. Short range inside 200 I've really liked the results. But I've also not shot anything bigger than a whitetail.

I could be wrong, but I believe a lot of guns shoot the soft cup and core bullets well bc they mold to the rifling so easily . Interlocks and power points have always seemed to shoot good in my rifles.
