Gonna fish a night tournament this weekend and have never fished one before anybody got any tips for catchin bass at night. I hear fish around docks and shallows any tips will be helpful thanks.

What do you typicaly use and i got some brush piles out but does it matter if you have lights on them or not

I fish a shakeyhead..No lights needed..Just slow drag it through the brush,fish the brush thorough.A jig will work slow roll a spinnerbait aswell.What lake are you fishing?

were fishing lake eufaula. Im glad you said shakeyhead fishing i use a squirel tail worm and they love it down here.

Take a headlamp light so you can click it on to tie on lures.
Black-red spinnerbait with a big Colorado blade, or some black/yellow or brown jigs.
Squirrel-Tail Worm works, eh? I have some but haven't tried them yet.

Everyone knows them squirrel tails won't catch a fish. Most useless bait ever made.

I've always been told to fish black baits at night because they silouette better against the sky. I have good luck on a black U-tail worm with red glitter.
Another bait that does well around lights is a shad colored shad-rap.
