She is the insider choice. That tells you all you need to know, she is a GOP robot easily steered and controlled.
The party was hijacked by trump and the GOP are trying everything they can to control it, they know they can’t stop it.
GOP uniparty would rather shoot themselves in the foot while trying to look like they are supporting trump while doing as little as possible and apparently even a little sabotage.
Party heads making decisions are intentionally out of touch with the voting base because they want to keep the status quo.

While she did defeat Mo Brooks with Trump’s blessings in the runoff but, what are we supposed to do either elect a Republican who in all honesty is probably a Rhino( some conservative values) or a true Democrat who has no conservative values? You can choose not to vote and hold your values, which is one less vote to counter the other party vote and they win anyway.
