I was able to get 3 tons of hydrated lime in 50# bags for free. My spreader wouldnt handle it fast enough so I cut each bag and walked around flinging lime this morning. Finished 3 foodplots with lime, seed, and harrowing by noon (before the rain was supposed to hit)
I leaned 4 things.
1. That lime gets in every crevice
2. My back, legs, and arms need to be worked more often
3. Next time I'll come up with a better plan or some help
4. I'm probably old

I laid in bed for a day after me and my 13 yr old granddaughter limed. fertilized, and seeded my 5 food plots at my house. I am old.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I went to bed fine woke up with a very painful ankle. Couldnt walk normal for days.Must have fell off a building in a dream. Old age

I didn't even know what it was until I did an internet search. When i got hurt, i went 9 days without pooping, 9 days. Constipated is not even a good word for what i was. You dont want to know what i had to do to fix the problem. Nobody should have to go through that. I would recommend laxitives and enemas before it gets out of hand.
