How many waiting to see if’n got drawn for Kansas this year? My group of 4 booked hunt last year in Kansas and the state decided to go to a draw hunt starting 2024. Booked Nebraska too and they are limiting out of state licenses this year, when I bought mine there was only 3000 left. Turkey hunting getting tough to book out of state. When my buddy and I started booking hunts in 2014 we’d wait til Jan-Feb to book hunts in April/May. We already booked for 2025 and talking to outfitters for 2026.
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

The Kansas results are supposed to be released today. I talked to a Kansas Outfitter at the NWTF show this past weekend. He said he heard from his sources it would be today. He also was told that all that applied this first year of the lottery would be drawn. Don't know how true that is but he sounded like he knew since his livelihood depended on it. The conversation started when I asked him how he was going to deal with clients who had booked hunts with him and then don't get drawn. He said outfitters are getting separate guide tags that can be used.
On a separate note, I talked to Fish and Wildlife staff from Nebraska, Ohio, Missouri and Tennessee at the show. The Kansas Fish and Wildlife were there last year but did not have a booth this year.

Our group got drawn for unit 6, money came out of my account the day before they sent the emails out.
