Just wondering the thoughts of folks here. If you where to be traveling to KY from AL thru Nashville TN, with a AR pistol with a brace attached. The pistol will be in a hard case and never opened unless in need of it. I'll also have my EDC stuff. The AR pistol is just a fail safe weapon for the wosrt case type thing. I'll also have my body armor with me. This stuff will be kept in the truck of car with easy ascess to it if needed. Will I be legal with the AR pistol and it's config. In my eyes yes but would you chance it. I have made this exact same trip before with no problems but that was before all the hoppla with pistol braces.

I have a friend that makes that same drive with much more firepower than you mentioned and my friend has never had a problem. Of course my friend hasn’t been stopped and searched and my friend doesn’t announce it on a public forum on the internet.
Hopefully your AR pistol with a brace, in your trunk, consoles you on your drive. My friend says that he keeps his Glock with a switch in reach on his drive.

don't plan on being stopped but you never know what may happen. No hookers and blow allowed I'll have my mom with me. LOL Taking her up to see kin folk my be her last time seeing them or remembering she saw them. She getting to where she don't remember much and has spells where she don't know what she is doing. If I do get pulled over it be for speeding on the interstate but there will not be a search with warrant unless they do it with out one. I'll speak no more of this, just wondering others thoughts on the AR pistol with brace. I've got other rifles I could take but the AR pistol is the most handy and in a non gun looking case.

Why not just research the States laws ya traveling through? If I were truly worried, I'd do that over asking social media questions even though ya typically get correct answers on here

I say go for it. I’ve been riding running from ok and back with a pile of different guns in the truck. It’s a lot better to have it with you is how I see things.

You'll get killed, shot, raped, robbed, shot again 3-4 times, killed again, murdered and robbed again. And then they'll steal any woman with you and sell her into USPS criminal activity rings.

I would be more worried about having all that in my trunk and stopping and my car get stolen.most law enforcement agencies are so short traffic stops aren’t high on the priority list..Also Ky and TN aren’t third world countries.. I’ve traveled through both with a Glock and made it out just fine

Use signals to change lane don’t tail gate don’t speed ride in the righthand lane unless passing a car drive a vehicle without dark windows. So you can’t have fun driving. If you get pulled over both hands on the wheel if at night turn your interior light on. Be sure to tell the trooper there is a gun in the vehicle.
