This is a video of a kid fishing from a pier? and it looks like he caught something. Can ya'll explain just what the hell kind of gear is going on in this picture? I'm guessing he's british and is fishing for carp. I don't know Skinny, brits are weird.
Guessing the nets/baskets on the front are for dropping fish into. Everything else is either rod extensions or rod holders.

You ever heard of a jigger pole?
You take a long pole, with a very short piece of heavy fishing line and put on a buzzbait or something and go around the shoreline, and use the trolling motor to cover water.

Carp fishing tournament in England. You can’t fight those big carp on little poles so they add extensions. Especially when one of those babes on the calendar comes up with the fish.
