What yall looking like around the state? I did some scouting around the few oaks we have on the lease and didn't see hardly any on the ground and not much sign of anything been there eating them. I'm in south Dale county.

We have a small crop this year, deer scratching under all my oak trees every morning to get them as soon as they fall. Not as bad as I've seen, but not real good either. South West bullock

I just hunted in Dallas county and they were fairly scarce there, other than the Water oaks and a few shumard and nutall oaks. I live in Coffee county and i'd say its below average there.

I’m not sure about other species but I have a big swamp chestnut oak at my front gate and I’ve only seen maybe three caps that looked new. Last year getting out of the truck to open the gate was like stepping onto a patio covered in ball-bearings.

My uncle has a white oak in his front yard. Its about 18" or so in diameter. I topped it several years ago so its top is a about 30ft across ball of limbs. He has raked up two 55gal drums and half of a ton totes bag off of it so far and the ground is still covered right now. Ive never seen nothing like it. Hes gona put out white oak acorns this year instead of corn

Too many dang acorn. Wife has fallen twice in the driveway. Dad comes over and scoops them up with a shovel to feed the deer. Mobile Co. I clean out the driveway then 2 days later it’s completely covered again.
