I need to stop a moment and thank a couple of Aldeer members who have helped me out in the last day or so. First of all, I bought some ammo from a member here in the classifieds and he did not want to ship. I posted up a thread seeking help in getting it to me. Had an Aldeer member step up who was able to help me out, in picking up the ammo for me. His wife works in Tuscaloosa and will be getting it to my wife tomorrow. JAS, I thank you kindly for your generous offer to help me here. I hope someday that I may be able to return that favor to you or even to "Pay it Forward" by helping someone else out. I promise you that I will do just that at the first opportunity that comes my way. Secondly, to the Aldeer member that sold me the ammo, I thank you kindly for allowing JAS to pick up the ammo before payment was made and you trusting me to mail you a check. You don't know me yet you took a chance and a risk by allowing that transaction to take place. For that I am grateful. Your check is in the mail already and hopefully you will have it in a day or two. Thanks again to both of you fellas. Folks like you are what makes this place so special to me.

Salt of the earth folks on here. i just read some PMs from folks offering to help/assist while my son was having surgery. Never met the people but willing to drive/shuttle, share their homes, churches, look after my house. And never meet them
