Buddy of mine is selling one the echo map 94sv cause he’s a tournament guy and going bigger screen and stuff. He asked me if I was interested in it and could get at a good price. Does it really help for just a casual fishing person as I’m not a tournament guy just fish and catch whatever bites. What I’ve seen from checking how it works it seems it could be a big help. So for y’all that have one what’s the real deal cause I know very little about them.

Youll spend 30min trying to catch that fish you see. It just might be a carp or a gar. We bought one and like it. My son spends way too much time trying to catch the ones he can see. It is amazing just how much you can see

Thanks for the info I need all the help I can get and figure it could save casting when nothing is there. Be about a grand but that’s a deal compared to about 3 new. I just wanted to get opinions on it before I do thanks.

Yes it will change the way you fish. And you will catch more fish It takes some time to figure out what you are looking at fish wise but when you do you will definitely catch more of your target species

You will love it but there is a learning curve. I have one on my bass boat but would love to find a deal like this for my watershed boat.

Yes, it will help but it can hurt you as well. As stated above, you can spend too much time on fish that just aren't going to bite instead of finding some that will. Also, it will not show you every fish in the direction it's pointing. Some fish lay so close to the bottom or on a ledge you won't see them unless they move. It isn't very good in the tailrace of a dam either. It is very cool equipment and I know you will enjoy it after learning how to use it. Watch all the YouTube videos before buy it to make sure you want to drop $1,000.
