Many may disagree about us spending our children's dollars to help fight Russia, but I look at it as an investment. Every little bit of Russia that is beaten back by Ukraine weakens them and makes it less likely that my children will have to face them in WWIII in their lifetime.
I support giving aid to Ukraine, with accountability (can't stress that enough) for philosophical reasons. Capitalism vs. Communism. I support giving aid to Israel for Religious reasons. A nation that helps God's Chosen people will be favored by Him. I'd say since you are for it you send both our portions. My tax dollars don't need to be going to a country that is just funneling back to the elites and making them an even more unstoppable force. We are doomed and it isn't because of democrats.

If I had it, I would. With the Caveat that I would demand accountability for all assistance I provide. No funneling back. I do have a problem with that and think if it can be proven, then prison or Capital punishment is not a severe enough penalty.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Yall do realize that we do business every day with all the most horrible people on this planet, right? Maybe we should stop that. Maybe the US should be a little more self dependant and quit fooling with all these communists. If were gona do business with them every day, its kinda hard to complain when they go to killing innocent people. Were pretty much making it possible by doing business with them. Then they go to war and everything we buy goes up 50% because of it. Thats horsecrap.

I'll ask again, you think there would be less corruption if aid to Ukraine was stopped? There would be less access to corruption. I'm not naive enough to thing it will automatically stop but I do know that it would at least curtail some of it. I'm not against sending some aid but we are funding the whole damn country. It's not our tax dollars going over there. Our tax dollars were spent before they ever got to the treasury. Right now every dollar that goes over there is a dollar that our government either a. prints or b. borrows from China. Both of those options increase inflation and the chances that a recession is extended or turns into a depression. It's not our children's future, it is literally our immediate future. All the while folks are hellbent on spending to oblivion. They want some guns and ammo, fine, we'll even throw in some cans of SPAM but there's gotta be some limits.

But personally I don't think it'd slow down the corruption. It'd just be funneled into L jibbity climate change studies in Pakistan or covid vaccine research.
