I’ve been working with my kids with a very old red rider. but I think they would do much better with a little more modern one with a decent scope on it. I want them to enjoy it and not get discouraged with iron sights too bad. Anyone got one they might sell? Nothing too fancy needed just reliable and with a decent scope.
Thanks

Don't know of a BB gun that you can mount a scope on, but this link will show you one that is well known for use as a trainer and in competition. It has nice peep sights that are easy to use at BB gun ranges. https://www.pyramydair.com/product/daisy-match-grade-avanti-champion-499?m=617#1239

Those are extremely good trainers. Low power but very accurate. I’ve taught a lot kids to shoot with one.

Who had a scope on a BB gun when we were kids? We all probably shot 500-1000 BB’s a day and were death to any bird. Kids are too coddled these days.

That looks awesome, I would have loved to have had one of those as a kid. Peep sights are great for learning to shoot, should be as easy or easier than using a scope at short range.
