Not familiar with shops in Birmingham, but any pro shop should be able to do it. Pat's in Jasper will.

Grab yourself an Arizona EZ Fletch (https://www.ezfletch.com/), pull up some YouTube for a quick lesson, and do it yourself. It's not difficult at all.

110%. I use their mini max and can fletch a dozen arras in no time. Super convenient and easy to use.

Well, was hoping to take the easy way, but I bought the stuff and will do it myself. Thanks for the encouragement. This could be a rabbit hole though as I tend to get highly OCD on things like this...

Not that difficult. Scrape the old vanes and glue off with a knife and clean the area good with denatured alcohol. Use any super glue gel to glue your vanes on with. Let adhesive set up about 10 seconds and move on to the next vane. If you screw up, scrape it off, clean it and try again.

Do you need/use a jig or something for alignment?

Yes, you have to have a jig. Lot of inexpensive options, but the best bang for the buck is. Bitzenburger.

I have a Bitz, but much prefer the Arizona Ezy Fletch. The Bitz doesn’t put much helical on 2” vanes, but the Ezy fletch sure does. I love it.

I may end up selling it, but you’ll be able to find it online cheaper.

I got the Bitz, and just as I figured I am headed down the rabbit hole! Now I am obsessed with which way to fletch. Always assumed my arrows spun to the right but a close range test with a bare shaft indicates the opposite so I will be putting a left helical on them this time. Now much of my online reading indicates it really makes no difference but it seems to me like it will get the arrow spinning sooner. My only concern with the left spin is that upon entering a target or animal, the left spin is counter to the threads on the broadhead and will only promote a loosening effect.

See? RABBIT HOLE!!! THANKS A LOT!!! smile

Mine spin left and I fletch left. The unscrewing in targets or animals because of left helical is a myth. If someone is having problems with that, they don’t know what they’re doing.

Most bare shafts from a modern compound will spin left. I fletch mine with a right offset. Stay out of the rabbit hole dude.
