Is this one of the crap apps Spann talks about? NOAA has no formation with the next 7 days. No Tropical Tidbits is built by Levi Cowan (PhD in meteorology from FSU. Senior Scientist at the Joint Typhoon Warning Center.) Yes the GFS models can be wrong this far out, that is why I said (in the OP) it was probably not going to happen. The purpose of the post was to say that things in the Atlantic\GOM might be warming up to storm formation. Those long range models get it right a lot too ^^^. Surprisingly accurate for something that was 2 weeks out. OP's image is gone now but this was about what it said IIRC.
