I looked at some laptops and found that the one's they have marked down are the same specs as the one's not marked down. In some cases there are better laptops cheaper than the one's marked down. It looks like they are using prime day to clear out a bunch of overstock stuff. I also found that if I log out of Amazon and go to another computer and not log into to Amazon I see different deals on the same items.

Nope. Was hoping some gearwrench ratchets would have been on sale. Kinda bumped

I'm sure there are some decent deals out there, but from what I've seen, I've been pretty unimpressed.

Most sales I’ve been interested in have been unimpressive, this year, overall. No where near the amount of quality/desirable items are included in the sales, as used to be, and if they are the discount is much less…..bidenomics is working hard across the board, c’mon man.

Tactacam posted they are running some deals via amazon prime on the XB, Pro XB and Gen 2.0 cellular cameras. Limited supply.

Vantrue x4s dash cams are $129 ($100 off). I have one in my truck. Last week the windshield mount broke. Since I bought the Allstate protection plan, I filed a claim for it (they are $25 on Amazon). Allstate paid me $230 for a total replacement. I even mentioned in the comments the camera was fine, just needed a new windshield mount. I knew Prime was coming up so today I ordered another one for the Rav4.

If you’re curious about the legitimacy of an Amazon deal (they’ve been known to jack up the price and then “discount it”) you can go to camelcamelcamel dot com and see the price history. You can even make an account and have it alert you if a price goes below a certain threshold.

Amazon has more tricks than Walmart to take your money.

Reolink cellular video cams are under $150. Usually $199.
Their wifi cams are on sale also.
Ring alarm systems on sale. Im switching from $25 a mo simpli safe to a ring alarm. They say its no cost to get alert notifications, just a charge if you want it monitored for them to call fire/police.

I got a couple of the reolink solar WiFi cams a few weeks ago. I like them. You don't have to subscribe to the monthly cloud thing. Just use SD cards. Someone told me the cloud backup is free for a period of 24 hours. Pretty nice.

I have 16 of the reolink cams, about half wifi and half cellular. I use a card in cam and the cloud storage also. If cam gets stolen the video is safe in the cloud. 20 cams storage plan runs about $100 a year.
The cams are super easy to set up

Damn! What cell provider do you use? I had one and finally gave it up b/c T-mobile could just never grasp that it was a camera and I couldn't receive a text on it to login to their website when I needed to.

WOW. I didn't know it was that cheap for cloud.
You're right they're super easy to set up.
What's the advantage of cell cam? Distance from router? What's the monthly fee on cellular cams?

Goodman i run the cell cams at the hunting camp, and at a property i own where i keep my tractor and equipment stored at, and also at a house on adjacent property i use just for storage. I have no power or wifi at that location so cellular cams that run on solar my only option there.
T mobile is who i use for data sim cards for the cellular. Its $10 a month per cell cam.
Their Duo cams are actually 2 cams in one housing. You get 180 view.
