gman we are twins. On a serious note, a bananas in the morning, situps, and a inversion table helps me.

A couple of years ago my wife gave a bunch of stuff around the house to a family in need. One of the items and the last thing on the trailer was a little twin mattress that probably didn't weigh 6 lbs. I grabbed one end and my son grabbed the other and as soon as I lifted it I felt muscle ripping in my lower back. By the time I got up off the ground I could barely stand, by the next day I couldn't get out of bed. The next week my wife and I had a trip planned to the Ark Experience in Kentucky and she was super excited about going. Due to her enthusiasm and us having planned it months in advance, I wasn't going to deny her that trip, so I lied and told her I was still a little stiff but could manage. We drove to Kentucky and I passed out twice from the pain while we were inside the Ark. Every time I took a step excruciating pain shot down my legs and up my spine. It was horrible.

It straightened itself out after a month or so but my goodness..... I feel for you guys that have chronic back pain, I can't even imagine living like that.

I realized I was getting old when I started using the heated seat in my truck year-round, because it feels good on my back...

Mr. GomerPyle... I am SO with you on that... heated seat more important to me than AC! My back issues started with a simple routine ... I had put my boat back in the trailer, took the wench strap in my hand and twisted to hook it to the bow... ruptured a disc and had to had surgery. Yep... getting old, SUCKS!

Right shoulder blade finally got passable last night after carrying a cooler from car to daughters pool and returning it to car empty on 4th of July. There’s 4 Ibuprofen in my pocket just in case it cranks up again.

Tell me about getting old. I popped something in my back while getting out of bed. I had a hard time walking for a week. It's bad when you're scared to get in bed because you are afraid you're going to hurt something.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I wish I could only use the back. My butt cooks where I like the heat setting.

I think some vehicles can. I know my parents old Tahoe (late 2000's I think) you could do the butt and back independently of one another.

When I get a catch in my hip or back. Dr has told me for over the counter meds get the strongest arthritis 650 or better Tylenol. Take 2, it still takes a day or 2 of taking it easy but seems to go away quicker. If trouble sleeping Tylenol PM works. I hope y’all get better soon.

I get pulled or tweaked muscles if I don’t make an effort to do toe touches and other stretches in morning after shower and nights before bed. Just 5 or 10 minutes helps keep that stuff at bay. Or atleast I think it does. But I’ll get complacent and not do it for a week or so then whack! I’ll pull something.

Reason for asking is I popped a rib out last year while twisting around in a chair and that thing was sore for weeks

I guess it could be a rib. Right side of spine from 2/3's down to hip. The 2 times i've gone to dr over the years, neither has mentioned it and both treated with muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory meds
