I'm looking to trap of the predators off my property. I have the racoons down with the dog proof traps and some cat food and marshmallows.
What kind of bait / lure have yall had luck with on catching coyotes and bobcats?

Get on a trapping supply website and get some coyote lures, bait, and urine. My personal favorite is Primal Paste by Predator Control Group. Get some sheep's wool and google dirt hole sets and go from there. I like the Caven's, Mark June, and Dunlap lures. But, whatever you go with will work if ants are not too bad with the warm weather coming.

Lure types are generally food lures, gland lures, curiosity or call lures. There are a lot of good lure makers mentioned plus Down South Trappers and a few others. Obviously gland lures are going to work better in the December-February time frame. Don't get hung up on digging a bunch of dirt holes, learn how to punch in flat sets with and without added attractors (a large piece of railroad slag works well and you can even smear the paste type baits on the bottom of it). Work on bedding your traps solid, they must not shift when your press down on the frame ends or jaws, as quickly as possible. Then focus on blending the traps so well that there's no sign that anything is there. A small whisk broom works well to sweep dry dirt from outside the pattern over it to help it blend.

Don't overlook castor as a curiosity lure, a lot of bobcat lures include it. But it'll catch a coyotes attention too. Dobbin's Backbreaker is one of the best.

Also, go to Trapperman.com and follow the Trapping Only forum. Steeltraps posts a lot of great set pictures, he is from N AL and used to post here I think.

Keep a detailed log about how you did everything from the type of set and bait/lure used
This way you will see what will work in the area you are in

Thanks everyone for the info. Fleming has a sale going so i picked up some more of the offset traps, some bait, wool and other things. Now just waiting on them to get here and get them degreased, dyed and waxed.
