HalfStrut83 spike H Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 13 Dekalb County	I believe I need to raise the comb on my Rem 870. When I get lined up on the sights, there is a small gap between my cheek and the stock. Often results in a bruised face. Any advice? What cheek pad is good for small adjustments? Or should I try to shim it?

XVIII 14 point Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 8,373 Likes: 17 lower shelby county	in the past for my kids, i would duct tape socks to the buttstock and then buy a stretchable buttstock shell holder and slip over the top...was a tight fit and i could add/remove the under padding to suit them.
