Yildiz O/U, SumToy mounted Fastfire IV, Trulock Full. 'Cause that's what I got already excepting it's a Fastfire III. Too much gun, really. I refer to it as Ol' Death. Ain't even fair.

I want a Stevens 28ga set up the same way, but I hardly hunt anything other than my Yildiz .410 single. You'd never guess how it's set up.

Franchi affinity, burris ff3..whatever choke the gun likes..my 870’s like a indian creek and kicks..both pattern very well…i have been looking at stoeger 3020 guns..they are inexpensive and from everything i have researched..they are solid guns..not to mention they are light as a feather..cant go wrong in my oppinion with model 500 mossberg or an 870..i have 2 and they are killers. Id love to have an m2 but i cant afford one.

870 compact in 20ga, RSF choke tube and TSS. Your choice of sites. Next question.

I would only change 3toes choke recommendation to a Carlson 575. You’d have enough money left for gas and eating on a fine turkey trip.

I'm looking at three of the guns mentioned the affinity 3 stoeger m3020 and the m2 all in 20ga w compact stocks.. I'm going to pull the trigger on one of em as soon as I get a day with work where I can afford to get to Reynolds in opelika to shoulder all of em.
Theyre the only place i've found w all 3 in stock. I'll post about whatever i end up getting and I can dm you give you a heads up if it'd help you

I have an 870 with 21" barrel, full size stock, RSF choke and a FF3. Bought the gun off 257WBY some years ago and put the sight on and swapped chokes. I have toyed with the idea of getting a new 20ga just because but I can't talk myself into giving up a reliable and compact gun.

My exact setup: Affinity 3, sumtoy mount, Vortex venom sight with a trulock choke. Turkey killer for sure and a pleasure to shoot with TSS #9s.

Yep, i bought 20 gauge 870 for my wife years ago for her to shoot skeet and maybe a turkey, once TSS became available this officially became my gun during turkey season. I do not see myself ever using anything else. Had a crazy situation last year where me and another guy were trying to double up, i folded my bird and he missed with a single shot, he then grabbed my gun and missed his again, he then fired the last shell and folded the bird up, stepped it off at 72 yards. I would never shoot past 50 yds and this was clearly not done intentionally but i was absolutely blown away when i saw that. You do not want a tight choke with TSS, the factory full or super full (if you can find it), are often better than the aftermarket stuff.

I’ll go out on a limb and say the exact same way as the O/U

I have the Stoeger M3020 with an Indian creek choke. It patterns great and as mentioned its light as a feather.

The .410 is the standard SumToy setup with base and choke as far as I know. The 20ga, I had him put the base on the rib where my hand goes. I like to keep the dot as dim as possible. It's handy to be able to reach the button from the firing position.
