I have a 2008 Honda Rancher 420. I ran it through some ice and mud this afternoon to get to a hunting spot. When I came out, the handle bars were difficult to turn, then started to turn easily. Only issue was the front tires stayed still while the handle bars moved easily. Any idea what the issue is?

As the resident off-roading guru, it sounds to me like something froze, then broke/stripped when you bowed up on it

You stripped the splines where the steering rod meets the tie rods. There’s a bearing down there and the splines are under there

Ol Gomer definitely has thick skin.
Or he’s making a list like the guy on Billy Madison.
